The romantic venue sprawls over 10 acres of leafy gardens, and while Tatra specialises in garden and outdoor weddings, the grounds also feature an elegant ballroom decorated with sophisticated chandeliers and a rustic chapel so that you can hold your wedding ceremony, no matter the weather. If you want an outdoor celebration, the gorgeous wrought-iron cupola will make for gorgeous photo opportunities while allowing you and your guests to soak in the surrounding natural beauty.

The Newlyweds

What can we say about this young & beautiful couple who love dancing so much, and they would never have an agreement on who is the better dancer. Even we couldn't decide the one after seeing their amazing first dance & surprise bridal party dance.

The bride is such a warm, kind, loving and most importantly, beautiful person. Michael has indeed found the woman of his dreams.

Apart from Dorna's gorgeous personality, she also has one unique story. She was born with one tooth, which only occurs in about 1 out of every 2,000 births.

We had so much fun with this lighthearted couple and it was definitely one of the most memorable days of all time.

The Wedding Venue

The big day was at one of the best venues in Mount Dandenong - Tatra Receptions.

Set within 10 acres of beautiful gardens, and spectacular views across the Dandenong Ranges forest, it's considered one of Melbourne's most unique wedding venues.

For an outdoor ceremony, their handcrafted wrought iron cupola is framed by lush lawns & forest greenery. Many couples choose to celebrate their special moment under the romantic cupola, with the backdrop of the Dandenong Ranges forest.

Their spacious gazebo is an ideal option for an outdoor wedding ceremony, set amongst our spectacular gardens

For an indoor ceremony, the light-filled chapel features high ceilings and floor to ceiling views of the Dandenong ranges forest. It is furnished with handcrafted timber ceremony pews and can accommodate up to 180 guests, allowing you an all-weather option for your wedding ceremony.

For the reception, the ballroom features spectacular views of our acres of gardens. With chandelier lighting, our ballroom is well equipped for your wedding reception with our bar, dance floor & cozy fireplace.

Note that Tatra Receptions provides onsite accommodation (28 suites) so that you can extend your wedding day and enjoy some quality time with your friends and family after the big celebrations!
