{ tegan + scott } - tanglewood estate, mornington

When Teegan and Scott first got in touch with us about their wedding, we were so thrilled – they were planning the most exciting countryside wedding with an intimate chapel ceremony with incrediable settings and a rustic barn reception. Teegan and Scott are the most fun people and we couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Here is Teegan and Scott’s wedding story.

GETTING READY

I started at an airbnb beach house, where the girls were getting ready together, and it was so much fun, because everyone was already tipsy. Teegan wore stunning dress from Vincenzo Pintaudi and Scott wore super sharp suit from Briggins and they looked really incredible.

THE CEREMONY

The wedding took place at the signature white chapel at Tanglewood Estate, and was a beautiful emotional ceremony. They had their own vows, which made everyone cried, including themselves. After the ceremony they were showered with confetti, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits.

THE RECEPTION

The wedding reception took place the rustic barn, which was decorated so amazingly with lots of native flowers and a n'It was always you' eon sign. It was so unique.

It was a beautifully sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests played lawn games, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from the portraits is the two love birds in the bush. Check it out below!

ADVICE FROM THE COUPLE

"Just be honest and real to each other find your best friend and don’t let the wedding over take over, because on the day nothing else matters just you and your partner.".

Tanglewood Estate

This lux property has a historic 110-year-old wooden chapel from Woomelang in Victoria. The restored chapel has white wood interiors and massive church windows to let in the natural light. It seems like it has been there forever. It really is delightful.

If you prefer to get married in the garden it is beautiful too. The estate has natural bush, a vineyard, a quaint homestead garden and a gorgeous lake with deck and jetty overlooking the bay. We might need extra time for photos!
