Heading to the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula for the Holly and Jessie's wedding, I knew that it was going to be an extraordinarily special day. This gorgeous, incredibly in-love young couple, both at age of 25, planned a sweet, intimate wedding shared between themselves and the close family and friends.

On the day a superstorm was predicted so they made a warm and cosy space for the ceremony inside the barn. Walking in, we couldn’t help but notice the one thousand origami swans hung on the altar (hand-made by themselves), right away, and more and more of those little details starting popping out, such as fairy lights, wooden barrels and other rustic decorations.

“We were planning an outdoor ceremony in front of the vineyard,” said Holly about the way she always imagined her wedding. However, the plan had to be changed. And here we are, all this time later with a gorgeous wedding that’s not exactly what she wanted but perfect in every way!

We find that one of the best things about small weddings is that they lend themselves to, especially tender moments. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day in December.
